Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Range Expanded

Rack mount Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) are designed for IT rack-mount devices without their own power redundancy. InfraPower ATS with dual power inputs provide reliable and redundant power for single-corded equipment.

The power source transfer time is seamless to the connected equipment, making sure that the switching occurs safely between the two input power sources. After switching to a backup power source, it can also switch power back to the primary input after power has been restored.

Austin Hughes now offers three versions of ATS:

  • Basic ATS, local metering with a 3-digit RMS display for current only
  • Intelligent ATS, remote monitoring over IP
    • B Series with 3-digit LED meter display for current only (new)
    • W Series with 2.0″ color LCD display for kWh, current, volt

Advanced intelligent W-series, intelligent B-series and basic ATS models are available for different technical and budgetary requirements.

The InfraPower ATS range provides the widest choice of configurations with the shortest lead-times in the market. Offering 110V / 208V / 230V models with input range from 10A to 32A, outlet quantities from 1 to 24 and variety of outlet types (e.g. NEMA, C13, C19, UK, Schuko, etc). Custom configurations are available upon request.

Basic ATS – Key Features

Cost Efficient Basic ATS Solution with Local Meter.

  • Digital meter provides real time local current monitoring. The blue LED display is easy-to-read and allows rapid monitoring to the aggregate load on the PDU circuit.
  • Meter Accuracy: ± (3% of the reading + 5 digits) RMS
  • Hydraulic circuit breaker (MCB) is included to ensure safety protection of connected equipment.
  • InfraPower ATS is bundled with an input preference switch allowing the user to set the power source preference to supply the output. Manual power input switching function is essential, especially during maintenance.
  • Single circuit 1U and 2U, as well as dual circuit 2U models available

Intelligent ATS – Key Features

  • Intelligent ATS model coverage:
    • Monitoring ATS (W & B Models)
    • Outlet Switching ATS (WS & BS Models)
    • Outlet Switching and Monitoring ATS (WSi & BSi)
  • The main difference between the W Series and B Series Intelligent ATS models is the physical local display:
    • B Series: 3-digit LED meter display for current only (new)
    • W Series: 2.0″ color LCD display for kWh, current, volt
  • Intelligent ATS models supplied with embedded gigabit LAN IP
  • Remote Monitoring Over IP:iATS provides real-time monitoring on Amp, Volt and kWh, helping users with capacity planning and improving the overall power efficiency of the data center.
  • B-series iATS with a local LED current meter can achieve the same remote ATS management level (kWh, Amp, Volt) as W-series iATS.
  • Models with Outlet Switching & Outlet Monitoring: Both WS & WSi ATS series allow outlet switching on / off remotely over network IP, whilst WSi provides outlet monitoring features.
  • Hydraulic circuit breaker (MCB) is included to ensure safety protection of connected equipment.
