The new cutting-edge InfraPower 2000 rack power distribution units include a full range of Z IP and M Serial series smart PDUs, featuring newly designed smart meters.
New Slide-Lock & Combo Outlets
Austin Hughes takes great pride in announcing the obtainment of a patent for our newly designed Slide-Lock IEC outlets featuring L13, L19 and Combo X19 outlets.
- X19 Slide-lock Combo C13 / C19 Outlet design by Austin Hughes, built-in slide locking lever locks the C14/C20 plug after insertion
- L13 Slide-lock C13 Outlet, built-in slide locking lever locks the C14 plug after insertion
- L19 Slide-lock C19 Outlet, built-in slide locking lever locks the C20 plug after insertion
- Optional colored L13, L19 & X19 IEC outlets allow easy identification of rackmount equipment power paths and facilitate power distribution management. As standard colored outlets are supplied as Black & Grey (1-Phase) / Black, Grey & White (3-Phase) with optional colors of Red, Blue & Green
- Outlet LEDs available for Switched PDUs
US NEMA, UK BS1363, German Schuko, French, standard IEC C13 & C19 outlets are available for Z & M PDUs. Multiple outlet types can also be incorporated into a single PDU (for example, C13 / C19 / UK).
New Generation Z IP & M Serial Meters
InfraPower Z and M intelligent PDU series are supplied with new generation meters which provide real-time local and remote power management.
- The Z IP Meter not only provides local metering but also embedded dual Gigabit ethernet LAN IP.
- Up to 32 levels of Z IP / M Serial iPDUs in daisy chain can be remotely accessed via one single network IP.
- The 2.8″ color LCD with touchscreen provides a sharp and highly visible display of kWh, kW, Power Factor, Volt, Amp, Temperature and Humidity.
- Billing grade meter accuracy with +/- 0.5% accuracy of the InfraPower PDU meter, which is vital for billing accuracy, energy efficiency, capacity planning and performance monitoring.
- The meter is hot swappable and field replaceable without needing to power down the PDU or attached mission critical equipment.
Remote Management
The new InfraPower Z series enterprise-level intelligent rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) are embedded with dual Gigabit ethernet LAN IP for redundant network access via IP (no dongles required). Ensuring 100% iPDU uptime reporting. IP authentication support (Active Directory (AD), LDAPv3 / LADPS, RADIUS) or local credential database. Monitored and Switched iPDU models are available to provide comprehensive remote monitoring, and on/off outlet switching functionality from anywhere in the world.
Z and M series 1-phase / 3-phase iPDUs can be inter-cascaded in a single daisy chain, allowing multiple PDUs to be cascaded together via Cat6 cables, up to 32 daisy chain levels. All the smart rack PDUs can be remotely accessed and controlled via only one network IP address.
- Free Management Software IPM-04: offers instantaneous visibility into crucial power quality, energy efficiency, and equipment health. By employing the most comprehensive and precise power management, you can effectively handle energy optimization, capacity planning, remote PDU control, environmental optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance with confidence.
- Web Based GUI PPS-04-S: A web-based GUI is integrated with Z IP PDU or external IP dongle (IPD-03-S). It is ideal for users who simply require power monitoring and input switching under a single PDU daisy chain (up to 32 PDU levels).
- 3rd Party DCIM via SNMP V2/V3 or REST API: DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) can be used for centralized management of monitoring power, cooling and environmental factors across facilities and IT systems. InfraPower intelligent PDUs supports SNMP or REST API integration allowing users to remotely manage the PDUs via their DCIM.
Accessories & Customisation
A range of accessories and peripherals designed to enhance the functionality of intelligent PDUs are available including temperature and humidity, water, smoke, door sensors, and external door mount display panel, allowing PDU data to be visible when the rack door is closed.
Z and M Series rack PDUs can be tailored to specific voltage, current, and connection needs, providing flexibility to address diverse power distribution requirements within the data centre.
